Lose Weight With Fun Sports

The most fun way to get involved in the type of exercise I am talking about is to take up a sport football or soccer as it is called in the US is great and there is always a kick around going on somewhere. You are not expected to do ninety minutes or perform like Beckham just go out and do your best, try and do as much as you can and then rest until you can do more.

Personally I play five a side football twice a week with a bunch of guys a lot younger than me and take my rest periods as goal keeper, it is light hearted fun and you just keep swapping positions on the field depending on how tired you are.


But field hockey, tennis and racquet-ball are just as good even joining in with a local sides training schedule is great fun and great exercise.

So what about the garden, or the old lady down the streets garden, they all need digging and digging is superb exercise. There are thousands of practical community projects that are hard work rewarding and slimming. If your community does not have any try starting some. This will not only get you off the couch it will improve your self esteem massively.

OK you hate sports and the people who play them, well I really believe you should address this because almost everybody does, enjoy them when they are pushed, but if you really insist you still don’t get away with it because the other thing that I do 3 times a week is weight training, but it’s not like any weight training you have ever seen.
