Change The Way You Eat Forever:A little later on we are going to look at what foods are good to eat and what is not but for now we are going to change the way in which we interact with food. If you get this part properly entrenched then the rest of it is almost obsolete if you manage to fully do the following suggestions you will never need to watch what you eat ever again. The first rulethat we change is that we do not eat unless we are hungry ever. Furthermore we find out if we are in fact hungry and not thirsty by drinking a glass or two of water if we still feel hungry then we can assume that it is genuine hunger. The second ruleis that we eat our food in a thoughtful manner we prepare our food and sit down with the object of eating in mind; we do not read and we certainly do not watch TV or listen to music we simply eat. Pay attention to each mouthful of food and enjoy it. Chew every mouthful of food considerately this is important for a couple of reasons, firstly the more you chew the food the easier it is for your body to digest it. Secondly you are training your body and also giving it time to know when it has had enough. The third rulewhen you are no longer hungry stop eating, this is the most difficult part of the process but it does not take long before you adapt and your body will start to respond and more importantly your brain will recognise the signals from your body that it is satisfied. If you are hungry an hour later then eat again. Of course in our working lives that is sometimes difficult to do so I am going to repeat something that I said earlier. “there is nothing wrong with being hungry”
